Successful Withdrawal of PayPal Funds to Unionbank EON

I tried transfering my PayPal Funds to my Unionbank EON Cyberaccount and last October 14, 2008. It says the transfer will take 5-7 days and at the exchange rate of 1 U.S. Dollar = 45.8456 Philippine Pesos. I did not check my EON account since I was very busy last week. I remembered checking it today and indeed the funds were transfered to my EON cyberaccount.

Withdrawing funds to your bank account in the Philippines  is free for P7,000.00 PHP or more, P50.00 PHP for P6,999.99 PHP or less. Just make sure you entered the correct bank  information otherwise a return fee of P250.00 PHP will apply, and your bank may charge additional fees. For my transaction with Unionbank EON I did not notice any amont being charge except for the P50.

At least now I don’t have to worry how to withdraw my income from online rakets. If you are also planning on earning extra cash online, I suggest you sign up for a PayPal account. It’s the easiest and hassle-free mode of payment for your online transactions. PayPal is now able to send funds to Philippine banks.

congrats on the successful paypal withdrawal! As for me, I don’t have anything to withdraw lately since I stopped doing pp. The remaining amount was spent on domain and hosting.

Sometimes, when I can’t wait too long for a paypal transfer to my account, I exchange it for GCash from one of my online contacts. He charges a fee, of course, but it seems reasonable. My other paypal withdrawal means is thru Payoneer. I have yet to try a Philippine bank and most especially the EON. P50 huh? Coolness. If I could wait 3-4 days for my paypal cash, I usually do the withdrawal by payoneer, after which I can withdraw at any ATM that accepts mastercard. But more often than not, I can’t wait 3-4 days (or 5-7 :) ) so I go the GCash route. My friend usually sends the GCash equivalent over within 2-4 hours after Paypal transfer.
