I haven’t updated this blog lately since I was quite busy with the full-time job. There were a lot of things I wanted to blog about but I needed references and images. Searching for these information requires time and effort and make blogging a challenge.

I am glad I came across a Firefox plugin called Zemanta which can make writing posts a lot easier by suggesting relevant links and related content to your post. This plugin integrates with your WordPress, Blogger, TypePad and even self-hosted WordPress installations and helps you by providing links while you are creating a new post.

How it works

When you start writing a new entry in your blog, it surfs the Internet for articles based on

your keywords and after every 300 characters, provides you with a list of related article links to different websites and keyword links to Wikipedia. You can then choose to enter those links in your post or you can visit the particular website. Zemanta also automatically search for tags to your post from which you can choose the more relevant tags.

Moreover, Zemanta also has the ability to search images from different sources based on your post keywords and lets you include them in your post in the same way like the news links.You need not worry about Copyright since all suggested contents are copyright cleared either licensed as Creative Commons, or approved by stock providers.

All these with just a click of a mouse button. No need to open a search engine to look for relevant articles and images to put on your post. This is one tool that will surely save bloggers a lot of time.
